Iceland, living on the moon

Iceland is one of the most dynamic volcanic regions in the world. Because of its singular geological position, Iceland has the special conditions needed to generate geothermal energy. The high degree of volcanism enables Iceland to be the world leader in the production of this eco-friendly, sustainable and renewable power. The result of all this is that Iceland looks like meteor rocks have crashed onto the earth and covered Iceland’s surface. When you first leave the airport you will find yourself wondering if you arrived on the moon and not a country on Earth.
